Home from the Pie Club Trip. We had SO much fun! Went to Michigan City, IN - where we started at the huge outlet mall. (We will have to go back next year to hit the stores that we missed!) Took a couple shopping breaks and went to the Casino boat. There was a terrible thunderstorm late in the afternoon - but made for a beautiful sky! Had a great Mexican meal, but FYI don't eat Mexican food at 10:00 p.m. then go to bed!
Second day we had a nice breakfast at the hotel then shopped at Big Lots - I know, I know - you can find a Big Lots in our own town. From there we went to Bubbles Pie and Ice Cream Shoppe and had lunch - pie and ice cream, of course! Met lots of nice people at that shoppe. Then we headed back east. Stopped at the University Park Mall in South Bend. Went to Middlebury and ate at Das Dutchman Essenhuas - it was FABULOUS! Best meal I have ever had! Got home around 9:30-10:00.
Resting up today. I am tired - I think from all the laughing!
